SurfSeis is a program designed to process seismic data using the multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW) method.

The MASW method consists of four main components: roll-along data acquisition, dispersion-curve imaging, dispersion-curve inversion to obtain a 1-D shear-wave velocity profile, and assembling multiple 1-D results into 2-D or 3-D images using interpolation algorithms.
